K-Swiss has re-launched the Si-18 International OGTM, a tennis shoe that made its original debut back in 1989. Having introduced the first all leather tennis shoe to players in 1966, K-Swiss continued with its innovative designs which changed the game forever. The Si-18 International OGTM was introduced over 20 years later in 1989 and was considered a breakthrough in tennis footwear technology.

The court shoe featured exclusive “Si-18” cushioning material (Silicone Formula 18), a technical D•R•Cinch lacing system, and heel stability counter to increase performance for those who seeked a cutting edge.

Given the popularity of its original release, the re-release of this legendary tennis shoe marks the first in a series of special colourway releases and collaborations rolling out through 2015. Built with the exact craftsmanship of the debut model in 1989, the Si-18 re-release displays flags on the heel and tongue, representing each of the four host countries of the Grand Slam tournaments and the colours of the original first release.

The K-Swiss Si-18 International OGTM is available at select retailers globally, including Sneakersnstuff here in the UK.
