LEXUS NX PERSPECTIVES EXHIBITION

The new Lexus NX is an admirable milestone in the world of automobile manufacturing. Its cutting edge design, comfort and intelligent innovation is certainly worth shouting about. Thankfully the luxury Japanese car-maker is doing exactly that, via its new digital art exhibition entitled NX-Perspectives.

NX-Perspectives sees world leading creative thinkers across the pools of fashion, design, and music gathered for the exhibition, each commissioned to create an exclusive piece of showpiece art, inspired by the Lexus NX vehicle. With various assignments across the board, artists have translated features and components of the vehicle through the use of modern art which will then be exhibited via the show.

For NX-Materialised, wearable tech pioneers studio XO, inspired by the materials of the NX, have created a piece of video art using digital couture and incredible after effects.

The materials used to create the interior of the Lexus NX were a natural jumping off point for Nancy Tilbury and Benjamin Miles, founders of Studio XO. Working with their team of designers, pattern cutters and material experts, inspired by the leathers and fabrics specially chosen for the NX, Studio XO have created 4 digital skins. These pieces, which act as an extension of the wearer, use ground breaking materials uniquely designed to be amplified through CGI in their incredible film art piece created for the NX project.
