Hip-Hop heavyweight, 50 Cent, is back after a long time of silence accompanied by Kendrick Lamar and Kidd Kidd on his new track ‘We Up’. The track is quite a departure from 50’s usual gangster vibe but this shouldn’t worry his long time fans.
The rapper is taking a much more relaxed approach to his rap and I’m sure it will only grow on you. I would be surprised if other rappers don’t emulate this chilled vibe, which seems to have been remotely influenced by chillwave but with an old school beat. This combination is quite lethal and I have already lost count of the amount of times I’ve listened to it. This is 50 Cent, but not as you know it.
