For four whole days, during the May Day bank holiday weekend, Barcelona-based brewery Estrella Damm is bringing its infamous La Boqueria food market to the London streets of Spitalfields. Kicking off on Friday 29th April, the four day market guarantees authentic Spanish produce, tapas style dishes from a selection of pop-up restaurants and bars who will also be serving ice cold beer (Estrella of course!).
“The pairing of delicious food and drink spans cultures and brings people together across the globe. Now premium beer Estrella Damm is bringing the epitome of Spanish gastronomy and foodie culture to Old Spitalfields Market for Londoners to enjoy right on their doorstep.
Estrella Damm’s lifelong friends, and another iconic Barcelona legend, La Boqueria Market, will be landing in Old Spitalfields Market this May Bank Holiday (29th April – 2nd May 2016).
With them they will bring the best of La Boqueria’s gastronomic delights plus features from some of Barcelona’s best loved restaurants. Expect incredible tapas, fresh produce to take home, ice-cold Estrella Damm served at market style bars, and an atmosphere that will transport visitors from London to Barcelona without the airfare.
La Boqueria have been visiting London exclusively for the last three years, and for 2016 will move from the Southbank to Old Spitalfields Market to align the incredible legacies of both these historical markets.
