The House of Peroni: a dedicated showing of Italian culture returns to the cobbled streets of London this May, taking residence in Brick Lane. Open Tuesday through til Sunday from 14th May to 10th June, The House of Peroni will once again feature immersive installations, a restaurant and of course a copious amount of Peroni.
“The Residency brings together a new generation of creative talent from the worlds of Italian food, drink, fashion, art and design. These include Michelin starred chef, Accursio Craparo who will be temporarily leaving his restaurant in Sicily to make his debut on the London food scene. Also featuring at the Residency will be award-winning Italian molecular mixologist Simone Caporale, Assistant Head Bartender at The Artesian Bar at The Langham Hotel.
Acclaimed chef Accursio Craparo has created an innovative six course tasting menu which guests will be able to experience each night of the Residency. Accursio Craparo has drawn his inspiration from Piazza life and designed a menu which takes diners on a journey through the daily rhythm of the Italian Piazza; from the early morning birdsongs to the evening aperitivo.
An entirely new range of Peroni Nastro Azzurro infusions created by mixologist Simone Caporale will also feature at the Residency. Each bar at the Residency will offer a selection highly inventive Peroni Nastro Azzurro infused drinks which have been inspired by everything from the architecture of Italian piazzas to the freshness of the Amalfi Coast. Guests can sample concoctions such as an ‘antagonist to the Bloody Mary’ or the inventive ‘Peroni Negroni’ whilst discovering the immersive specially-commissioned experiences by Italian designers, artists and architects.
From Thursday 14th May until 10th June guests are invited to explore the transformed East London space to eat and drink and enjoy the Piazza experience, or attend one of the unique sensorial events, scheduled weekly and booked in advance, due to be announced in the coming months”.
