2013 saw renowned producer and remixer Jason Chue AKA Wookie, release “The Hype” featuring Eliza Doolittle and popular remixes, including that of Disclosure’s “Voices” and Wilkinson’s “Too Close“. All 3 records gained the support of Radio One’s Annie Mac, Toddla T and Rob Da Bank, Kiss FM’s DJ EZ and 1Xtra’s MistaJam, DJ Target and Cameo.
2014 brings new endeavours, with Wookie now returning with this soulful track “Higher“, featuring the vocal talents of North-West London newcomer Zak Abel. 18 year old singer/songwriter Abel teams up with Wookie and the skilful trumpet player Mark Crown (Rudimental) here for some strictly electronic-soul vibes.
