Lets not by any means undersell this talented South London producer. FWDSLXSH is a name we’ve become able to rely on, having impressed us throughout 2013 with a long list of dynamic R&B/Electrionic releases. Subsequently 2014 brings a new challenge, after all such success brings expectation. This is something which the eclectic producer clearly see’s as a passable step, there are no limits. Something that continues to impresses me, is the creative confidence the LNIP member possesses. Fwdslxsh clearly enjoys using R&B samples, and “4 U” is no different, showcasing R&B in futuristic form. However its clearly not as easy as just using any old R&B vocal, there is a careful selection process here, after all Fwdslxsh has to throw in that saucy giggle and create some futuristic electronic sounds in pursuit of that exceptional signature sound.
Currently working hard on his forthcoming EP, Fwdslxsh takes the time to share this new track from the project. “4 U” represents everything that we’ve come to expect from the London beatsmith, a heavy sample and the inclusion of several electro-r&b elements, all of which has been mixed perfectly to create an intimate and atmospheric record. “4 U” is exactly what it says it is, and won us over with its light enjoyable take on Electronica, with persistent reminders of R&B. If Fwdslxsh‘s forthcoming EP is anything like “4 U“, then we’re in for a major treat! Enjoy the music.
