I’ve just stumbled across an interesting duo from the States who call themselves, In the Valley Below. I think their latest track Hymnal sums up their unique and interesting sound quite nicely as it showcases a subtle beat with some very rich harmonies from their vocals.
The two have a very wide ranging influences but it’s the folky harmonies that strike me the most on this track. However their tracks range from this to more upbeat synthy pop tracks and they are band to keep an eye on and check out their Band Camp for the their latest releases. But in the mean time just two of my favorite’s below.
