I never thought the Bee-Gee’s could really be sampled effectively in a Lo-Fi, chillout piece but Texan Softmore certainly proves this to not be the case on ‘Got the Power’. He pulls it off is because you don’t even notice he is sampling the Bee-Gees, you just sort of drift off into the relaxed vibes this talented American producer is producing.
‘Got the Power’ is quite a typical track of this downtempo producer but it is just a preview of his up and coming works.
It is the perfect background lounge music that you can just drift off to and I highly recommend you listen below.
