The quietness of Shanell frustrates me somewhat. Since hearing her feature on a number of Lil Wayne smash hit singles including “Runnin” & more notably “Prom Queen”, the songstress faded into the background. However her latest steamy single “Last Time” featuring Busta Rhymes, is a great promo as Fki set the mood with this atmospheric production, with Shanell talking about revenging the man who did the dirty on her. Busta Rhymes is always a great feature on R&B tracks, and definitely opens the door for this one to have a wider appeal. Keep an eye out on some new material to follow shortly from Shanell, as her talent is evident on “Last Time”, which you can now stream below.
