When I first saw the title of Post Malone’s “White Iverson” record, I semi-expected a basketball themed skit. This is anything but. To say this one was a welcome surprise is the biggest understatement of 2015 so far.
Produced by FKi, Malone raps/sings on the catchy melody, in a style that somewhat resembles PartyNextDoor. That’s not to say Malone isn’t original, he most definitely is and he floats effortlessly through the hypnotising number like a seasoned pro.
The fact that “White Iverson” is only Post Malone’s third SoundCloud release is quite amazing really and we hope there’s more to come from L.A resident soon. Stream below.
