London can hold its head up high right now. Glistening to the side of recent high climbers, Bastille and Disclosure are a number of exciting newcomers. This brings us to LDN rising star Joel Compass, who won us (and many others) over with his previous single “Run”. However his hot streak shows little sign of cooling, preferring to maximise his recent rise with another exciting release, titled “Forgive Me”.
Tapping into numerous genres, “Forgive Me” sees Joel team up with producer Dan Carey for a splash of house and r&b, while ensuring the track hits the spot with just enough emotion and definition involved. “When you turn and say you’ll leave/ Keep your memories far from me” sings Joel, who quite clearly addresses his past.
Joel Compass is one of the UK’s most exciting newcomers.
