In one wave of the wand, Coldplay makes any negative memory of Mylo Xyloto and their work since disappear with their new track, “Magic“. Punchy percussion along with the signature blend of Chris Martin’s vocals over a vibrant piano make this easily one of my favorite Coldplay songs in a long time. Not sure about last week’s release, “Midnight“, but “Magic” alone has me excited to hear their forthcoming album Ghost Stories upon it’s released on May 9th.
