London talent exploded onto the international electronic music scene throughout 2013, and this newbie from Tourist featuring Will Heard is yet another fine example of the quality electronic music that our small island (UK) has to offer! Whilst Sam Smith, Disclosure and John Newman might be proudly flying the flag, 2014 will undoubtedly bring a host of new names to add to the growing list of international edm exports. One name that we now believe needs to be added to that list is that of London producer Tourist. Having previously shared both “Stay” and “Tonight” from the beatmaker, we now check out his latest work, a track titled “I Can’t Keep Up“, featuring vocalist Will Heard.
One thing we admire about Tourist is his incorporation and fascination for delivering silky smooth R&B vocals, mixed seamlessly with a house infused production that bounces along effortlessly. Tourist’s use of piano & synth here certainly sets this one off, with a deep beat and sexy dance groove vibes, just in time for the impending weekend! Tourist is an incredible young musician who deserves some major success, and judging by this one, its only around the corner.
