Madeaux is something of a mystery. We know little more than his residence being “the internet“, which is mysteriously described and quoted on his Soundcloud page. However Madeaux’s anonymity increases the fascination here, and if you’ve had the time to listen to some of his previous work, you’ll know he’s a talented producer who has a love for delivering funk-esc sounds! Today TinMan London takes a look at one of Madeaux’s latest releases, “Ten Things“, a track which serves as part of Madeaux’s brand new 3-track EP, The Way. “Ten Things” sees Madeaux link up with electronic/dance vocalist Molly once again, for this atmospheric and texturised nu-disco record.
Right from the get go, “Ten Things” hits us with an array of futuristic nu-disco sounds, which pack the track with flavour and intricate artistry. With only 3-tracks on his EP, Madeaux is clearly just getting started, and 2014 will no doubt see him build on his quest for bigger and better things. This could be quite some year for him!
