Ohhhh how I’m glad to have found this one today! Introducing NYC-based singer-songwriter Emily King and her latest audio gem, titled “Distance“. Currently un-signed, Emily is no stranger to the taste of success, having previously been nominated for a Grammy for her debut album East Side Story, some six years ago now!
Fans of the New York native may have had to been patient for this new one, but Emily King clearly still has the midas touch, displaying her mesmerising ways with some smooth soulful, and almost folky sounds that linger on the mind of the listener. “Distance” is full of emotion and meaning, with Emily singing “love is always better when we take time to get back to who we are when we are apart“.
