West coast producer,Woody, is back on the pages of TinMan because I’ve just found his big remix of Biggie’s legendary track Machine Gun Funk. He replaces the classic chilled east coast vibe with a bigger, more funky sound. This welcome change really breathes new life into this track and i highly recommend you check it out below.

The Dodos – Confidence

The Dodos – Confidence

San Fransisco based duo The Dodos have just released a taster track titled Confidence off their up and coming album Carrier, due out on the 27th of August. Despite there being just two members, this track is anything but two dimensional. The acoustic driven pulse is constant through out but they add pace and texture half way through the song, which I like a lot. You should really check out this track below.

Editors – The Sting

Editors – The Sting

>British indie band Editors have just released The Sting off their forth and upcoming album, The Weight of Your Love. The hype has been going into full effect with these guys with much excitement surrounding the album, due out on July 1st. This latest release has a much more somber tone than the first release off the album, which I prefer. Be sure to listen to them both below to get you excited for their latest album.

Aussie producer, Flume, has just dropped an oustounding edit of Rustie’s Slasher. This talented young producer really gives new life to this already upbeat track while also putting a typical Flume spin on.

TDCC – Sun [Late Nite Tuff Guy Rework]

Irish band Two Door Cinema Club have just had one of their latest tracks reworked by Australian producer Late Nite Tuff Guy. The original Two Door Cinema Club vibe is by no means lost and the warm feel is only enhanced by this skillful Australian who put a nice house twist on the track. I really am a fan of this track and I will be listening to it a lot of summer.

Dead Ghosts – Roky Said

It’s time we had a bit more fuzzy garage rock in our life and luckily we have Canadian band the Dead Ghosts to supply us! Their track, Rocky Said, is off their latest LP and has a really nice up beat but crunchy sound.
