Gearing up for the May 27th release of his highly anticipated album Skin, Flume has released his latest collaborative single “Say It” featuring edgy Swedish pop star Tove Lo.
The album’s track list is saturated with a variety of artists from Vince Staples, AlunaGeorge and even an appearance from alt-rock favorite Beck. You can acquaint yourself with the full list of collaborators here.
We’ve heard an impressive variety from the producer lately, with singles “Wall Fuck” boasting experimental instrumentation and “Smoke & Retribution” carrying a hip-hop trap fusion that we’ve seen on Flume’s previous releases.
“Say It,” falls into a different category completely. Tove Lo lends her vocals to a chilled out pop track infused with the Australian’s signature hip-hop inspired percussion and augmented vocal samples. With an impressive list of contributors and Flume’s wide production skills, I can’t wait to see what other surprises we can expect from Skin.
