The Australian 7-piece band marries elements of jazz, psychedelic rock, hip-hop and more to create an intriguing swirl of genres sure to simultaneously confuse and please your ears. Complete with organic production and swift lyrical rhythms, Koi Child accents their smooth flow with sharp verbal jabs.
The group’s self titled album, produced by Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, was released March 18th and boasts an impressive 14 tracks. Bump “1-5-9” at your next house party or through your headphones at work; either way you’re guaranteed to feel like the coolest kid on the block.
