To celebrate its 110th anniversary, Red Wing has introduced a completely re-imagined Huntsman boot. The original, released in 1936 was dubbed “The Bird Shooter’s Boot,” and soon became a staple for the outdoorsmen. First introduced at a time when leather soles were more prevalent, The Huntsman became one the most iconic boot, re-shaping the footwear landscape.
The anniversary 8-inch Huntsman has been completely re-created in black Klondike leather, but keeps its “gro-cord” rubber sole as per the original. While we don’t condone creeping up on birds or hunting, these make for a handsome fit for winter.
