The Italian Supper Club is heading south of the river this April, hosting a special night at The Doodle Bar in SW11 on Tuesday 14th April, 2015. Running with a river theme, the menu will include duck, oysters and other ingredients found in a river. Tickets available below.
“From Hackney, we’re crossing the river for the very first time! A delicious four course dinner inspired by the Thames will be hosted at the Doodle Bar in Battersea. Join us to celebrate the arrival of Spring (hopefully!). Although we can assure you we did not go and forage the food ourselves, the menu will focus on some of the ingredients the river used to provide: eels and ducks, for example, were once hunted in and around the Thames and were a common staple for East End’s poor. They are now considered a delicacy and will be cooked with an Italian twist for this special dinner!”
