Remixing is considered a craft, one artist seeing an opportunity to take a track and send it into a new direction, sometimes with minor changes or with a complete switch-up. Many of today’s emerging producers have made a breakthrough via their remix work, including the likes of Kaytranada, RAC, Kygo and more.
So naturally Budo is a producer we’re keeping close tabs on, with the Seattle-based musician having been exceptionally consistent throughout 2014. He’s now carrying that same form with him into 2015. For his latest remix here, Budo works his magic on Oh Wonder’s “All We Do”, a track we think stamps his authority as an artist who’s destined for breakthrough.
Budo’s interpretation is given a dance-based injection, while retaining the originals piano-notes and softly spoken vocals. Listen below.
