Carven Vétiver and Carven Pour Homme Fragrances

carven-pour-homme-vetiverThe house of Carven recently announced two new men’s releases: a re-launch of Carven Vétiver and a their brand new fragrance: Carven Pour Homme.

Designed by Paris based artist Thierry de Bashmakoff, the new editions are presented in elegant black and green bottles, with masculine silver metal caps.

As expected, each fragrance embodies its own level of sophistication. Carven Pour Homme, comes in black and incorporates woody, spicy, aromatic notes with a burst of modernity, opening with violet leaves and grapefruit followed by nutmeg, sage and cedar, before leaving a trail of vetiver and sandalwood.

Carven Vétiver on the other hand comes in green and is actually a re-edition of the original fragrance that was released back in 1957. The citrusy, aromatic and woody fragrance opens with grapefruit, bergamot and lemongrass. With a heart of lavender sweetened with orange zest and aromatic-tart geranium, on a base of benzoin, sandalwood and cedar mixed with a large dose of vetiver.

Both Carven Pour Homme and Carven Vétiver are now available at Selfridges.
