It’s easy to fall in love with anything that singer-songwriter BANKS attaches herself to. Her chill-inducing lyrics are so strong, fragile and penetrative. However, if we did have to pick one piece of constructive criticism of BANKS, it would be that her music is often one-paced. Thankfully the talented duo Hotel Garuda have stepped in to help though, teaming up with the New York-based producer Gryffin to transform Banks’ “Beggin for Thread” record, turning it into a dance-inspired swooner.
