Is the objective to sign with a major label or to a respected management company as important as we all really think? While both inevitably provide that much needed extra push and support, talent coupled with some self-promo can also go a long way.
Following in the footsteps of the likes of Ed Sheeran and others who’ve taken a similar route is rising singer-songwriter Shannon Saunders, who like Ed is reaching the masses via her growing YouTube profile. Such exposure has seen Saunders already achieve much success, reaching #48 on the iTunes chart with her self-released single “Heart Of Blue” last year.
While we doubt the Swindon singer will be flying solo for too much longer, Shannon’s latest single “Sheets” is yet another reminder that she means business, providing a well-rounded pop/house jam with a delicate soundscape.
