There’s no avoiding it, Raury ‘the newcomer’ is this week stealing the headlines. Having been pictured in the studio with Kanye West recently, Atlanta’s latest musical export provides us with his impressive genre-bending debut, Indigo Child.
Raury’s long awaited 13-track project was self-produced, and only includes a small number of features, ensuring his own musical philipsopy takes full focus. Vancouver Sleep Clinic does however add a welcome addition. Indigo Child is exciting for multiple reasons, not only does Raury bring an incomparable sound to the mainstream, he also places his revolutionary movement into the spotlight for us all to see.
