South London foodies rejoice! The guys responsible for Street Feast are bringing their street food and night market expertise south of the river, for a summer series of great food, cool drinks and chilled vibes.
Model Market will reside in the up-and-coming area of SE London that is Lewisham (South London folks can be smug, we’ve been harping on about the area’s untapped potential for ages!) and will house 20 of London’s coolest street food vendors, including the likes of Breddos Tacos and Yum Bun taking up residency. If that wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, surely the rooftop area, epic sound system and five (yes FIVE) bars is enough to get you heading in to Zone 3 as fast as you can say “DLR”.
Opening this Friday, make sure you take a trip “daaaahn saaaaf” to this cool new venue that apparently started life as a rundown 1950s market. Even though you’d expect dazzling sunshine for this summer residency, don’t let the English weather put you off as Model Market will have booth indoor and outdoor areas.
