Since announcing her new eponymous album, St. Vincent lead singer/musician Annie Clark has released nothing but gold and her new track “Prince Johnny” is no different. As much as I love the more frantic St. Vincent songs, it’s when Annie slows things down a bit that her artistry is fully displayed. The song features a funky feel and truly beautiful vocals with complex themes and lyrics that are typical Annie.
