I’m admittedly new to Mac DeMarco‘s music, but something about “Passing Out Pieces” feels…familiar. The Canadian musician sings a melancholy song that reminds me of a mix between Damon Albarn (the GAWD) and another artist that I can’t really put my finger on right now. Regardless of who the latter artist is, any comparison to the former garners an automatic listen and believe me, it’s definitely worth it.
