It might still be the weekend, but Ella Eyre clearly doesn’t believe in condoning nakedness, taking to the mic to tell us that “We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off” to have a goooooood time! The talented London songstress’ cover comes as Virgin Records (EMI) celebrate 40 years. The label recently released a 3 side compilation of some of their artists tastiest and most successful records to date. With a history of over 40 years of tracks to choose from, its fair to say we don’t envy the task of conducting such a selection process.
The new project contains some absolute bangers, with the thrid CD containing a selection of impressive covers, which includes the likes of The Kooks, Corinne Bailey Rae, KT Tunstall, Josh Record, Ella Eyre, Bastille and more! Ella Eyre‘s cover of Jermaine Stewart‘s 1986 “We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off” record is one of our favourites from the release, which can be heard below.
