London is set for more NBA matches, after a full capacity o2 Arena hosted the Brooklyn Nets Vs Atlanta Hawks last night. Brooklyn eased to a comfortable 127-110 victory over the Hawks side, in a match which saw Nets star Joe Johnson lead the scoring chart with 29 points, whilst fellow Brooklyn player Andray Blatche came off the bench to make 20-points in a game which saw 5 of the Brooklyn side reach double figures.

Whilst the defeat for the Hawks may have been made somewhat harder to take given their London visit, Kyle Korver did manage to continue his NBA-best streak of 108 consecutive matches with a 3-point made, however Korver finished up with just the three points, making a disappointing 1-of-9 shots.

Last nights tip-off was the fourth to take place here in London, with incoming NBA commissioner Adam Silver welcoming the NBA’s London plans, “We do have plans in place to continue playing regular season games in London“, adding “It’s been a fantastic experience for our teams and our players, and we hope to continue building our business in London and throughout Europe“.
