Despite claims that the coldest winter on record is heading to the UK soon, news of 50 tonnes of snow being dropped in east London definitely caught our attention! This epic snowfall transformed Old Street’s Red Market into an urban London street scene where, as part of the O’Neill Shoreditch Showdown event, a crowd of snow lovers and extreme sports enthusiasts came down to watch the UK’s finest rail riders do their thing and compete for a cash prize.
After hearing tales of epic tricks, live graffiti installations and a cheering crowd we’re gutted we missed out on the action.
