Sh!t I missed this gem, a track from Bastille that was released a while back! Mash-up’s aren’t really my thing, but South London quartet Bastille are well and truly on my radar, being a fellow South Londoner myself and officially being their biggest fan today!
Track’s like “flaws” and now “No Angels” have made me a fan overnight! Ella lends her silky smooth vocals for this one which is typically titled “No Angels”, and fuses TLC’s “No Scrubs” with The xx’s “Angels”, two very different musical excellences. This is remarkably charming, effective and super chill! The track appears on the Bastille’s mixtape; Other People’s Heartache Pt. 2
